The NetJets Experience
Hey Weekenders,
So, Mr. Buffett and Mr. Munger finished their Q and A session and I was off to the next attraction. While I was touring the exhibit center earlier in the day, I stopped by the NetJets booth and got directions to their exhibit behind Epply Airfield. NetJets is a Berkshire company that sells fractional ownership of smaller jets.
The first think that I noticed when I pulled up was that I the place was very popular. I had to park three rows back in the grass behind the parking area. But it is a beautiful day here in Omaha and I got out of the car. As soon as I started walking in all I heard was the sound of jet engines firing up from the tarmac at Epply.
I entered the smaller, but very plush terminal for private planes and was guided back to this pristine hangar behind the terminal. As I entered I was given a special badge to wear.

I spent the next hour touring some of the 5 beautiful planes. On display were the:
Cessna Citation Encore
Hawker 900XP
Cessna Citation Sovereign
Hawker 400
Gulfstream 550/GV
All the planes were really nice, but the smallest plane was my favorite. The cockpit picture at the top of this post comes from the smallest plane and so does this lush interior pic.

See you at the NFM Beach Bash and at Borsheims on Sunday for the games.
