2008 Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting

Hey Weekenders,

This is the first post that I really wanted to address to the media. If you are a member of the press, here are a few guidelines that will help you get the best shot and the best experience today.

In the likely event that Mr. Buffett and Mr. Gates come this afternoon to game day, you should already be here and set up. Game time starts at 1 p.m., so I would suggest arriving at noon or 12:30 to get the best spot on the Media Only risers. They are clearly marked and overlook the bridge area. This is the likeliest place that Mr. Buffett and Mr. Gates will be sit.

When you first arrive you need to check in with Kari (pictured at the top of this post) or Jonnie at the media table to get your credentials. The media table is located near the Borsheims entrance inside the atruim. It is right by the coffee stand.

All press representatives must check in at the press table. At the table, they will receive special Borsheims credentials allowing them to circulate throughout the event. If a representative wishes to enter Borsheims with any sort of camera/video equipment and/or to interview guests, they must be escorted. Escorts will be available at the table.
