Shareholder Sunday: Borsheims Brunch
Good Morning Weekenders,
I hope everyone had a good night last night in Omaha. I just wanted to put up a quick note about today’s festivities before everything kicks off.
Starting at 9 a.m. there will be a brunch buffet in the Regency Plaza Atrium out front of the Kobe Steak House. Abraham’s catering will provide a delicious array of morning treats from Jamaican jerk chicken, quiche, muffins, pastries, fruit, cheeses and much more. Oh and make sure to get at least one cup of coffee in, because you will have a long day of activities ahead.
Expect great discounts on all the gorgeous jewelry, watches and art available at Borsheims.
Several world-champion level activities begin at 1 p.m. In the gaming area you can enjoy a game of bridge against world champions Bob Hamman and Sharon Osberg.
Magician Norman Beck will also be here today dazzling the crowd with his sleight of hand. Beck is a master of close-up magic, which usually means a manipulation of small objects such as cards.
I am also sorry to announce that our scheduled chess champion, Patrick Wolf, has had to cancel due to a family emergency.
Of course I will have more in-depth information coming as the day develops.
Just a side note, but I also noticed that they were restocking the 13 bars in the atrium this morning.
Have a good morning,
Bill, the blogger.
