2008 Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting

Hello Weekenders,

This is Bill, the blogger, again. Many of the people who worked to organize the Berkshire Weekend at Borsheims went out to lunch today and had a chance to talk about their experience this year.

I thought that I would share a little bit of what was said. Just want to keep with the theme of taking you behind the scenes.

First, we had roughly 25,000 visitors to Borsheims over the course of the weekend.

Everyone at the lunch agreed that this year was a big success and one of the most smoothest running weekends that we have ever had. We had lots of good press and the blog went really well.

Stephanie, one of the event organizers, said that we had more press this year that she had seen in previous years. She was also surprised to be recognized at the event by people that saw her video on this blog.

Jonnie, a first-time weekend worker, said that she had a good time working with everyone on the team and was really happy with the friendships she made during the craziness. She said that it was kind of a getting to know you, or friendship, under fire.

I hope that you made some great friendships too, and if you would like to share any of your Berkshire Weekend experiences with us, we would love to hear about it.
