You’ve actually shared correspondance with Chaz. He is the convicted felon from Georgia who has written you several times (and I believe sent you a birthday card) and you have been gracious enough to write back. Chaz, since being released from prison has flourished. I’m so proud of him! He has a job, has kept his nose clean, and he’s bought one share of Berkshire Hathaway stock! I asked him if he was going to try to contact you and he said no. I personally think he should and I am brazen enough to let you know he’s there. You are his idol and have had a great influence on this kid who once trafficed in drugs and went to prison. Mr. Buffet, I wanted to let you know he’s there, honored to be among your stock holders. I don’t know if there is any possibility you might reach out to him but I did want you to know how honored he feels to be there and how excited he is over the possibility of meeting you. You’ve had a profound influence on his life! Should it not be possible I certainly understand but I did want you to know that he is a remarkable human being heavily influenced by your example.
