In his annual letter to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders, Warren Buffett announced he would be selling jewelry at Borsheims during this year’s Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders weekend. We know he used to sell shoes, but does he know what it takes to sell jewelry? One of our newest sales associates talks about the intense training it takes to become a jewelry pro at Borsheims:
We know Warren Buffett will be a great salesperson, even without the jewelry training. If you want to buy something from Mr. Buffett, he’ll be selling at Borsheims on Sunday, May 1, 2011, during the shareholders only shopping event. You can always buy now, too, at www.borsheims.com.
Hello Berkshire Weekenders,
The Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholder’s Weekend is a very big deal for everyone at Borsheims. On this blog you can find several video interviews that we have conducted with employees from past years, in which they discuss how much they love the Berkshire Weekend. We have a few new ones planned for this year, so please watch out for them.
Hello Weekenders,
I just wanted to share this short video of the crowds at the Berkshire Hathaway Weekend Shareholder’s Meeting at the Qwest Center. Everyone is still going strong. I think that the estimated 40,000 person attendance was pretty accurate. There were times when I could hardly navigate my way through the Qwest Center and that place is huge.
If you liked the video, I hope that you will check out all our Berkshire videos on our YouTube Channel.
Hope you are having fun,
The Borsheims Team
Good Evening Weekenders,
The party is still rockin at Borsheims. The tent outside is hoppin’ to the funky beats of Soul Dawg. The crowds are huge and it looks like everyone is having a good time. If you couldn’t make it out tonight, I hope you will enjoy the short video I shot of the party. Just press play, close your eyes and imagine that you are at the Berkshire cocktail reception right now.
If you liked the video, check out the rest of work at the Borsheims YouTube channel.
See you at the Qwest Center tomorrow,
Bill, the blogger
